Participation of the AREA scientists at research seminars

Sofija Andrić, graduate student and Nevena Zlatković, PhD student at the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade, Serbia gave a seminar entitled: “Additive effects of protozoa on plant growth and nutrient uptake” and “Xylella fastidiosa- new threat to Italian olive production”. The seminar was held on January 22, 2016 in the Amphitheater 11/III at the Faculty of Agriculture with the beginning at 11h. Seminar gave insight to the listeners in research in two topics - protozoa and its affect on plant growth and nutrient uptake by Lolium perenne growing in clay and sandy soil; and olive tree disease that suddenly appeared a few years ago in the province of Lecce in Italy, which causes quarantine pest X. fastidiosa.
