Training in RAMAN microscopy

Monday, 10. March 2014 to Saturday, 31. May 2014

Aleksandar Nedeljković, PhD student (FOODTECH group) completed training in Raman microspectroscopy. Training visit was conducted from 10th March to 31st May 2014 at Institute for Physical Chemistry, Friedrich Schiller University, Jena (Germany) under supervision of Dr Petra Röesch, research associate. Overall aim of the training was to obtain basic knowledge and skills necessary for using Raman and FTIR spectroscopy in analysis of foodstuffs, especially dairy products. In addition, international working environment at the host Institute gave an opportunity for improving other practical skills (manuscript writing, English language skills) and to establish contacts with researchers from several countries.
