Assist. Prof. Zorica Ranković-Vasić (FRUITBREED group) completed training in DNA-based technologies. The training was organized at School of Agriculture, Policy and Development, University of Reading, Reading, UK from 20th May to 30th May 2016, under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Ordidge and Edward Venison. Aim of this training was to learn new skills and methods from DNA-based technologies, which will allow the team to advance research in grape breeding with special attention to variability between collected samples of different grapevine cultivars. Aim of this training was to learn Gene Mapper software (detection of fragments and analysis of DNA sequences).
